Accessibility Statement

First published: 14 October 2026. Last reviewed: 14 October 2026

This statement applies to britnova.net. We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We are a private company and are not covered by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we follow the same standard and the structure of the GOV.UK model statement so that public sector clients can see where we stand.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We have tested it ourselves and found no failures of the AA criteria that we tested, but we have not yet had an independent audit or testing with screen reader users, so we cannot claim full compliance. The limits of our testing are listed below.

What you can do

  • Use the whole site with a keyboard. A 'Skip to main content' link is the first item you reach.
  • Zoom in to 400% (or use a 320 pixel wide window) without scrolling sideways.
  • Choose a light or dark theme with the switch on every page.
  • Pause the moving technology logos using the 'Pause motion' button. Animations also stop automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.

Known limitations

  • We have not yet tested with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver.
  • We have not had an independent accessibility audit.
  • Links to other services, such as Calendly, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, open sites we do not control.
  • Images of our case studies have text descriptions, but we have not independently checked each one for quality.

Feedback and contact

If you find a barrier, or need information in another format, email contact@britnova.net. We will reply within 5 working days and tell you what we can do.

If you are not happy with our response

If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which gives advice on discrimination and equality in England, Scotland and Wales.

How we tested

Tested by our own team on 13 October 2026 on the home, services, work, case study, about, contact, privacy, cookie and accessibility pages, in light and dark themes.

  • Automated: axe-core 4.14.0 against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules plus best-practice rules, and a Lighthouse accessibility audit.
  • Manual: keyboard-only navigation and visible focus, colour contrast of text over the gradient background, size and spacing of clickable targets, and reflow at 320 pixels wide.

How often we review this

We will review this statement at least once a year and whenever we make a major change to the website.
